Cat excavator hits overpass, closes Interstate 695 in Michigan

Cat 314E was being hauled by a dump truck when it hit the overpass.

A Cat 314E mini excavator being hauled by a dump truck hit a bridge carrying Interstate 695 near Saginaw, Michigan. The excavator, owned by the Michigan Department of Transportation, caused enough damage to force closure of all lanes of the Interstate as it passed over state highway M-13, according to a local news report.
