Alleged thief grabbed compact equipment in Washington

Thefts allegedly occurred over a year

Police have charged 45-year-old Fedir Kvashuk with stealing skid steer loaders, a mini excavator, and other equipment over a year-long period in the Tri Cities area of Washington.

According to news reports, Kvashuk is alleged to have driven a heavy truck late at night on weekends to load up with stolen equipment in at least seven incidents.

The first incident was reported in October 2020, and the last in November 2021.
