New Holland D Series Excavators
Models E42D and E50D New Holland mini excavators are the first in a new series, which is designed and manufacture fully in-house. The excavators have zero tail swing, long arm options, the choice of steel or rubber tracks, and a two-way or six-way blade with standard float function. Dual auxiliary hydraulic lines and an optional third high-flow line provide power for attachments.
FPT engines power the excavators, at 43.3 horsepower and 58.7 horsepower, respectively. Operating weights are 9,590 pounds and 10,912 pounds with maximum dig depths of 10 feet 1 inch and 10 feet 11 inches, respectively.
The excavators have Eco Mode, auto idle, and a reversible cooling fan. A tipping cab/canopy provides full hydraulic system access, and three large side and rear panels offer access to key service points.
The operator’s station comes as a four-post ROPS/FOPS canopy or a fully enclosed cab. The cab features a fabric pneumatic suspension seat with automatic weight control, height-adjustable armrests, LED lights, manual or automatic climate control, and intuitive joystick-mounted controls that move with the seat.
