Operator rescued after pinned in excavator

A building collapsed on the excavator, burying the cab under debris.

The operator of an excavator was trapped when the structure it was tearing down partially collapsed, covering the Deere 245G excavator with debris. The incident occurred in McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania.

According to the city of Pittsburgh, the operator was unconscious when medics arrived. He had suffered trauma to his head, chest, and arms. The city posted images from the scene on X, formerly known as Twitter.
