Tadano to Acquire Nagano

Nagano makes self-propelled aerial work platforms.

Tadano will acquire Nagano Industry Co., a manufacturer of self-propelled crawler aerial work platforms based in Japan. The share-purchase agreement included all shares in the company, which recorded 2022 sales of about $39 million.

The acquisition enables Tadano to expand product offerings to include self-propelled aerial work platforms, according to the company, setting it up to grow its aerial work platform business. It has more than 30% market share in Japan for truck-mounted aerial work platforms, according to Tadano.
