Volvo EC750E Hydraulic Excavator Aims for Fuel Efficiency, Performance

April 12, 2016

The Volvo EC750E hydraulic excavator is powered by a Volvo Tier 4-Final D16 engine and provides 502 horsepower.

Its electro-hydraulic technology is optimized to operate in harmony with the engine, delivering greater operator control and productivity, Volvo says. The hydraulic system, in combination with the company’s advanced ECO mode, works in unison to reduce internal losses in the hydraulic circuit—resulting in improved fuel efficiency without loss of performance in most operating conditions. In the cab, ergonomically positioned interfaces, including the joysticks, keypad and LCD monitor, are designed for efficiency and ease of use. The cab features ample storage and legroom, 12 air-conditioner vents, and an adjustable seat. An integrated work mode system is designed to allow operators to choose the best work mode for the task at hand.
