Professional accomplishments: In October 2013, I was selected to be the Project Equipment Manager of the $1.5 billion Goethals Bridge Replacement Project, a bridge that connects New Jersey to Staten Island, N.Y. I am currently in charge of all purchasing and sales of equipment for the project with a projected cost of $30 million, tracking and controlling equipment downtime, equipment repairs and services, supervision of all staff and craft employees working in the equipment department, training, authorization of crane operators, ensuring that all cranes on the project stay current with OSHA/CDAC and New York City standards, and teaching and enforcing a culture of safety in our department.

Off the clock: Spending time with my family, attending sporting events, hiking, and spending time in the garage working on my car and motorcycle.

Favorite book: “Winning,” by Jack Welch. It is a must-read for anyone in the management field. The book provides excellent insight of the corporate world, and it provides simple, powerful, and proven management practices.

Extracurricular: I am actively involved in the National MS Society, contribute and volunteer regularly to Cure Search, and I am an assistant coach for my daughter’s soccer team.
