Acela Truck is a startup company focused on refurbishing and recapitalizing FMTV military trucks for use in construction and other applications.
“Over the course of the past two years during the most pivotal times of a startup, Louise has not only helped develop the strategic path of Acela Truck Co., but she has helped implement every action to ensure the success of the Acela,” says David Ronsen, president. “Having worked in startups her entire career, Louise truly understands what hard work it takes to build a successful company.”
Education: Bachelor’s degree, Montana State University; Master’s degree, University of Texas.
Professional accomplishments: Awarded the Wall Street Journal Award for Most Innovative New Product, environmental category, and helping launch six startups.
Off the clock: Mother of two boys. I also play competitive roller derby for two teams, including Team Montana 406 All-Stars.
Fun fact: I perform with an all-female comedy troupe that is currently performing off-Broadway.
Extracurricular: Board of Directors for Backcountry Medical Guides, a nonprofit organization focused on the education and training of medical professionals in wilderness medicine.
