Construction on Chicago’s One Bennett Park skyscraper is complete after three years of building. A timelapse of the project was released following its completion, allowing viewers to watch the entire process in less than one minute.
The timelapse, recently published by EarthCam, follows the building's construction—literally—from the ground up. According to Curbed Chicago, the construction method is on full display within the video.
“Crews can be seen pouring the tower’s concrete skeleton and hoisting large precast exterior panels and windows into place,” the article reports.
The building is inspired by Art Deco design, according to the article, and is the tallest strictly residential skyscraper in the city.
