The company’s E3 Vise Action Compression Latch series expands with a T-handle version that features an integrated padlockable design.

The E3 Compression Latch combines ergonomic operation with enhanced security to provide vibration-resistant latching in rugged environments, Southco says. Constructed of stainless steel, the unit offers high corrosion resistance and a polished finish. The padlockable E3 is tested to EN61373, the European standard for shock and vibration for railway applications, and meets NEMA 4 and IP65 standards for water and dust protection, making it suitable for a wide variety of applications across industries. It also delivers vibration-resistant fastening of heavily gasketed enclosures and is available in a variety of grip lengths. Additionally, the padlockable E3 features the same panel hole prep as the standard series, and is available either with or without pre-installed cam options.
