Shell Lubricant’s T6 Multi-Vehicle 5W-30 engine oil is formulated for use in both diesel engines and heavy-duty gasoline engines.
The new oil meets the performance requirements of API CK-4 and is formulated also to meet API SN requirements, which limit phosphorous to 800 ppm. According to Shell, T6 Multi-Vehicle overcomes the low-phosphorous anti-wear restriction with “boosted supplemental anti-wear performance.”
