Sany Introduces SRC860 RT Crane

March 8, 2011

According to Sany, the SRC860 is the first U.S.-tailored machine designed by a joint Chinese/American team. Powered by a 250-horsepower Tier 3 Cummins engine and a Dana Powershift transmission, it has a capacity of 60 tons at 10-foot load radius. Main boom is comprised of four sections and provides a 113-foot maximum length. With a 53-foot bi-fold jib, maximum tip height is 172 feet. The unit weighs less than 90,000 pounds, and the 10-foot-10-inch width allows the crane to be moved economically. Two more RT cranes will be introduced at Conexpo-Con/Agg in two weeks.
