A construction worker died and two others were injured when a car struck them in Oklahoma. A report by KOCO identified the fatality as Jacob Matuszczak, 19. The two injured workers were taken by helicopter to a hospital in Kansas, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP).

OHP said it appears the driver of the car fell asleep. The vehicle left Interstate 35 South, hit the crew, and came to rest after climbing a bridge embankment. Three other occupants were also asleep. None was injured.

The workers were employed by Wildcat Construction, according to OHP.
