Technician injured in crane accident released from hospital

Both legs were crushed while working on a tower crane in White Plains, New York.

The technician whose rescue was televised as he was lowered 200 feet from a tower crane has been released from the hospital.

Sal Forte suffered two broken legs while working on the tower crane in White Plains, New York, earlier in August. According to a news report, Forte walked out of the hospital to the applause of medical personnel.
