Putzmeister Redesigns Pro Series, Bridge Maxx Mixers

Feb. 5, 2016

The Bridge Maxx and Pro Series concrete mixers have redesigned front and rear pedestals that weigh less and increase the mixer’s load capacity. Wider access holes provide easier access to hydraulic lines.

The Bridge Maxx redesign positions the concrete load lower in the truck frame for improved center of gravity. The trailing axle has been redesigned into one solid piece, which lowers weight and allows for lower hydraulic pressures within the cylinder. Subframes are now welded to the chassis, further reducing weight. The chute pivot brake is also lighter, changed from hydraulic to pneumatic.

The Pro Series has a steeper angle of the drums, which increases capacity and allows for quick load and unload capabilities.
