The F1000T asphalt paver features two operating stations that swing out to provide enhanced visibility to the front and rear of the machine, says the company, and the machine’s auger-conveyor feed-control system uses four ultrasonic sensors that measure paving material and automatically adjust conveyors and outboard augers for optimum material flow. The outboard-drive auger system eliminates segregation and delivers a constant head of material, says the company.

The F1000T uses a Tier 4-Final Cummins diesel engine with a hydraulically driven, on-demand cooling fan. According to Atlas Copco, the machine features an “over-sized hydraulic system” that places minimal stress on hydraulic components.

The F1000T uses either a front- or rear-mounted Carlson EZ R-1020 screed with a maximum paving width of 26 feet, and the tractor-mounted 34-kW generator heats the screed. The front extension screed is ideal, says Atlas Copco, for paving parking lots, county roads, and city, while rear-extension screed can take on large projects, including highways, interstates, and airport runways.
