Komatsu PC210LC-11 Excavator Adds 7 Horsepower

June 11, 2015

The PC210LC-11 excavator has a Tier 4-Final SAA6D107E-3 engine that provides 7 more horsepower, at 165, than its predecessor. Fuel consumption, says the company, is reduced by up to 6 percent.

A 9,634-pound counterweight improves lift capacity, the company says, and a viscous fan clutch improves cooling system efficiency.

Operator-specific joystick patterns can be set with a standard change valve, and operator IDs can be set up to allow access to Komtrax data by job, application or operator.

Six work modes match engine speed and pump flow to the job at hand, and the company’s Closed-Center Load Sensing System (CLSS) provides quick response and smooth operation to maximize productivity, it says.
