The SK230SRLC-5 and SK270SRLC-5 excavators dig to 21 feet 7 inches and 21 feet 9 inches, respectively. They run on Hino engines that boast fuel efficiency gains of 31 percent in the SK230; the SK270 consumes 27 percent less fuel. Digging forces are 26,800 pounds for the SK230 and 31,700 pounds for the SK270.
The proprietary intelligent control system includes heavy lift when extra lift capacity is needed, and power boost that instantly delivers more power for additional digging capability with no time limit. Independent travel also allows each model to move, lift and swing simultaneously without experiencing loss of power.
