Worker Hit, Vehicle Flees Scene

A construction worker doing overnight road repairs in New Jersey was struck by a vehicle, which left the scene of the accident, according to a news report.

Police chased the vehicle and arrested the driver.

The worker was taken to a local hospital and was reported to be in critical, but stable, condition.
