The XL 3200V Lo Pro crawler excavator is designed specifically for working in low-overhead situations

The XL 3200V Lo Pro crawler excavator is designed specifically for working in low-overhead situations, having an overall height of 9 feet 5 inches with a bucket attached to the boom end. That dimension is 16 inches less than the height of a standard XL 3200 V. The new model is suited to top-down-construction projects that involve excavating under a 10-foot ceiling. The XL 3200V Lo Pro's boom tilts 110 degrees in both directions and has a reach of 27.5 feet. A Tier 4-F Volvo Penta engine powers the new excavator, which uses a high-pressure hydraulic system that adjusts automatically. Joystick controls are electronic and the operator can choose from Gradall, Deere, or SAE patterns. The machine's compact counterweight allows the working and swinging in tight underground spaces.
