Fluor has divested AMECO for $73 million to One Equity Partners.
AMECO managed fleet services for Fluor in North America. The divestiture is part of Fluor’s plan to completely sell off the equipment management side of its business. It sold the Caribbean business in August 2020.
It continues to look for buyers for its South American business and its ServiTrade Mozambiqu operations.
One Equity Partners is a private equity firm with more than $6 billion in assets under management focused on transformative combinations within the industrial, healthcare and technology sectors in North America and Europe.
