New facility will house offices, training classrooms, and distribution network for Kubota dealers in the west.

Kubota Tractor Corp. has opened a new distrubution center near Sacramento, California. The 631,465-square-foot facility is located in Elk Grove and replaces the company's former facility in Lodi, California. This brings the number of centers in the United States to five, joining Suwanee, Georgia; Fort Worth, Texas; Columbus, Ohio; and Edgerton, Kansas.

The facility will house offices, training classrooms, and a distribution network for farming, construction, and turf equipment, as well as repair parts destined for Kubota dealers and customers throughout the West, ultimately catering to the evolving needs of Kubota’s diverse customer base.

"We are committed to expanding our product lines and building needed infrastructure to better meet the needs of customers and dealers throughout the West,” said Shingo Hanada, president, Kubota Tractor and Kubota North America, in a statement.

Kyle Hagen, Western Division Manager, Kubota Tractor Corporation, spoke about the new Elk Grove facility meeting a growing demand Kubota equipment.

“The most important aspects to bringing this new facility online are for our dealer network to better support their local communities with sales, service and support, and by moving more product through Elk Grove for the benefit of all our Western states customers,” said Hagen in a statement. “And for our employees, bringing them a state-of-the-art, efficient and well-run facility, as we’re always working to remain a top employer of choice in the region.”
