Nexiq diagnostic tool adds Cummins engines

Technician 2.10 diagnostic software has been updated to provide calibration support for certain Cummins engines. The Nexiq Technologies PC-based diagnostic tool will now be able to work on EPA 2013 engine models such as EPA20 X12 CM2450, L9 CM2450, B6.7 CM2450, and EPA17 X12 СМ2350.

“Technicians depend on our Technician software for quick access to comprehensive diagnostic support,” said David Shock, Nexiq Technologies product manager, in a statement. “[T]his update features support for changeable parameters, including the ability to program automotive mobile regeneration minimum vehicle speed, and low idle speed.”

The Technician 2.10 software update also features newly added special tests for EPA ’13 and newer engines, including the AFT Intake NOx Test, AFT Outlet NOx Test, DEF Pump Heater, EGR Delta Pressure Auto Zero, and Air Handling Performance Test.
