Triton Synthetic Transoil 50 from ConocoPhillips is specifically formulated to meet the new Eaton Roadranger PS-164 Rev 7 specification. It is recommended for manual transmissions of heavy-duty trucks and offers increased protection against pitting and wear, improved thermal stability and component cleanliness, and the capability to reduce operating temperature in the transmission. The new oil will replace current synthetic transmission oils — 76 Triton Syn Lube CD-50, Conoco Syncon HP Synthetic Transmission Oil 50 and Phillips 66 Philguard Transoil 50 — and is fully compatible with the existing products that it will replace.
