Blue Diamond Breakers Line
A new line of Blue Diamond Attachments hydraulic breakers includes 12 models for use on excavators, skid steer loaders, and compact track loaders.
Specialized breakers are engineered for specific machines, with models available for equipment ranging from 1,500-pound mini track loaders to 55-ton class excavators, according to the company.
The breakers are designed as a solid mono-block, milled from a single piece of steel. A vibration-dampening system consists of a polyurethane (poly case) shell that wraps around the mono-block and sits inside the Hardox steel outer casing. This design significantly reduces vibration transfer to the host machine, protecting hydraulic components, pins, and bushings from excessive wear while improving operator comfort, according to the company.
Interchangeable mounting brackets are available, allowing a single breaker to be moved between different host machines—including from excavator to skid steer—by simply transferring the unit to a compatible mount.
A self-regulating valve protects breakers from over pressurization, excessive flow, and back pressure. Anti-blank firing prevents the breaker from operating unless pressure is applied to the tool. This feature prevents internal damage from dry firing while the attachment is not engaged with material.
Four tool configurations are available: moil point, chisel tool, pyramid tool, and blunt tool. Each tool type is manufactured from high-grade, heat-treated steel with precision machining to ensure proper fit and maximum energy transfer from the piston to the material being broken. Tools are easily interchangeable without additional wrenches or keys.
