In early 2020, Bobcat says it will bring to market a new product line: small articulated loaders.
According to Bobcat, the new wheel loaders, the L23 and L28, are designed as tool carriers, featuring a Bob-Tach coupler that can accommodate a range of work tools. Both new models will use a 25-horsepower engine.
The L23, with an overall width of 39 inches and a rear receiver hitch option, will have a fixed boom, and the L28 will be fitted with a telescopic boom for an added 24 inches of lift height. According to Bobcat, the L28’s boom uses a dual-cylinder design, with the telescopic cylinder synchronized with a second-level cylinder to keep the load level as the operator moves the bucket. The new models will feature joystick controllers and a heated cab enclosure.
