A Volvo JECR25 electric mini excavator has been donated to the Westfield Technical Academy’s horticulture program, reports WWLP.

The donation, valued at $100,000, was the result of a partnership between J.L. Raymaakers Construction, Tyler Equipment Corp., and others, according to the report.

Previously, students only had access to simulators.

Tyler Equipment was the 2020 winner of Construction Equipment’s Dealer Excellence Award.
