Train hits backhoe parked on side of tracks

A worker was working on a backhoe loader parked alongside of railroad tracks in Chattanooga, Tennessee, when a train engine hit it. The worker was treated by emergency personnel.

Video of the scene provided by News Channel 9 shows the backhoe nestled beside the train. A work truck fitted for running on rails was at the scene, but it is not clear whether the backhoe was part of the railway crew.

Video shows the machine being backed away from the scene.
