Kubota Unveils 2023 CTL, Excavator Upgrades

Oct. 20, 2022

Kubota SVL75-3 CTL

The SVL75-3 Kubota CTL is a generational upgrade, said Tom Turner, product operations manager for construction equipment.

“We want to think about operator comfort and functionality,” said Turner. “The first thing you’ll see is an all-new 7-inch LCD touchscreen. The user sets his functions and settings in the touchscreen.”

The CTL has keyless start as well as the ability to set a password for added security. A backup camera is standard.

A new one-piece cab is pressurized and sealed. Labeled and backlit controls provide additional guidance for operators, specifically for newer operators, Turner said. The one-piece cab opens up for service access. The CTL will be formally introduced at Conexpo.

The KX030-4 mini excavator replaces the company’s KX71-3S. It has a larger cab and a third hydraulic line return for attachments. The excavator will be available in Summer 2023.
