The truck driver lost control after being hit by a car changing lanes.

A truck transporting a crawler dozer hit a concrete construction barrier in Texas. The dozer came loose and fell into oncoming traffic, striking two vehicles and killing one driver.

According to a video report from KHOU, the truck driver lost control after a car hit it while changing lanes on the westbound I-610 North Loop in Homestead. The video shows the four rear wheels of the lowboy perched on top of the barrier.

The Deere 850L dozer came loose from the trailer, falling into the eastbound lanes. It hit a Ford Mustang and a pickup truck before coming to rest on the opposite side of the road. The truck driver suffered a head injury, according to reports, and was taken to the hospital.
