An excavator towed by a dump truck hit power lines and traffic lights before falling off its trailer and onto a stopped SUV. The incident occurred in Ocean County, New Jersey.
According to published reports, the trailer and the Cat excavator on it tipped over as the driver was trying to turn right. The excavator hit an SUV stopped at a traffic light. No one was injured, and the truck driver was cited for careless driving.
A video posted on the Facebook page of Brick Township Police Department shows flashes as the excavator hit a power line and continues down the road. Later (at 0:30 in the video), the truck and excavator come into view and the boom hits a traffic light.
