    The company started in 1859 in West Bend, Wisconsin, and is headquartered there today. Gehl has locations in North America, Europe, Latin America, Oceania, Russia, Asia, and in the Middle East and Africa

    Gehl acquired Mustang in 1997. It became a wholly owned subsidiary of Manitou Group in 2008.
