May 25, 2022

The four-axle TTS9000-2 Grove crane is a line extension with a lift capacity of 115 tons. The Grove truck crane has all-wheel steering and a Megaform, six-section telescopic boom that extends from 36 to 169 feet. Reach with a jib extension is 263.4 feet.

The carrier has a GVW of 97,000 pounds.

An automated steering system helps operators navigate challenging driving conditions, according to the company. Each of the all-wheel steering modes can be activated at the click of a button on the right-hand console: coordinated, crab, manual, and standard highway mode.

Design improvements on the outriggers of the Grove TTS9000-2 include the rear outrigger box, which is now 5 inches higher to improve the departure angle to 18 degrees. The front outrigger jacks have been mounted 3.5 inches higher to improve ground clearance, while allowing for an extra 3 inches of outrigger stroke. The outrigger pad size has been increased from 20 to 24 inches.
