Palfinger Opens Parts Center in Illinois

Palfinger's new distribution center houses more than 60,000 parts and has the capacity to ship up to an estimated 75,000 shipments annually throughout North America, according to the company.

Palfinger opened a North American parts distribution center in Huntley, Illinois, to support service across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. Huntley is near O’Hare International Airport, major interstates, and a cargo hub in Rockford, Illinois.

The 177,000-square-foot facility will stock more than 60,000 spare parts for the company’s range of lifting products. At full capacity, the center is expected to process 75,000 shipments annually.

“Service is a growth driver for PALFINGER, and North America is one of our important markets,” said CEO Andreas Klauser, in a statement. “The Huntley facility is a major investment in keeping our customers up and running. It’s about speed, reliability, and demonstrating our commitment and confidence to this region. It’s also bringing our global standard of service even closer to our dealers and customers.”
