Ditch Witch
Ditch Witch is using Conexpo to push the connected underground jobsite. The company’s new product Orange Intel is more than telematics. It links drills, Subsite locating equipment, fluid cleaning systems, and mapping platforms like Utiliview and Esri into one workflow. Contractors can move from pre-inspection and rod-by-rod drill planning to as-builts and post-inspection reporting inside a single ecosystem. Dashboards and alerts are customizable. Fuel burn, idle time, productivity, and preventive maintenance schedules sit in one place. GPS tracking and geofencing add fleet security. Access runs through MyDitchWitch for better field-to-office coordination. For utility fleets juggling multiple crews and sites, this is about great visibility and documentation.

VMAC
VMAC is at Conexpo for the service-truck crowd and anyone who hates dragging extra gear to a job. The booth will show new mobile air and power systems that try to replace a trailer full of just-in-case equipment. The headliner: the G90 with FlexDrive AMS. VMAC says it can run up to 90 cfm at 100 psi continuously, and up to 50 cfm at 170 psi. The second big draw is a gas-powered 6-in-1 multifunction power system, powered by Honda. VMAC lists air, electric power, welding, 12V and 24V charging, boosting, and hydraulic power in one compact unit. That’s a fleet conversation about payload, space, and standardization. Also watch for the e30 with Stealth Power, a battery-electric rotary screw compressor rated at 30 cfm. Electric matters in indoor work, night work, and regulated sites.

Hitachi Global Air Power
Hitachi Global Air Power is leaning hard into electric air at Conexpo. The focus sits squarely on the Sullair portable lineup. Three machines anchor the booth: the E1035H, the E425H, and the OFE1550 oil-free unit. The E1035H debuted in 2023 and still drives the platform. It features swing-out coolers for faster cleaning, condensate management that reduces disposal headaches, and Sullair’s Electronic Spiral Valve for efficiency. The company will also display its first electric portable compressor from 1979. It has more than 53,000 operating hours. That’s a durability flex backed by data. The E425H delivers 425 cfm at 150 psi for rental and general construction. The OFE1550 pushes 1,550 cfm at 125 psi of Class 0 oil-free air. That targets oil and gas, plant backup, and purity-critical applications.

Stellar Industries
Stellar Industries brings a finalist for the Next Level Awards: the Hybrid Power Source. The HPS is a fully integrated, emissions-free power system for service trucks. It runs cranes, compressors, and hydraulics without idling the chassis engine. Up to 12.8 kWh output. Up to eight hours of runtime. Automotive-grade lithium-ion. Recharges via alternator while driving or 120V shore power. For fleets, this means less fuel burn, lower noise, and anti-idle compliance without sacrificing hydraulic performance. The modular battery design lets you right-size capacity across truck builds. If you run service bodies, this could change your spec sheets. Check this booth out.

elobau
elobau is bringing hardware you can actually feel. The booth features the new Robust Joystick JE inside a live simulator built with CM Labs. You’ll run a virtual excavator and test presence detection, haptic feedback, and configurable inputs in real time. This matters for OEMs and fleet managers who spec controls. Ergonomics and functional safety are no longer soft features. They influence fatigue, precision, and training curves. The joystick is built for harsh off-highway environments. The simulator shows how it performs under load, not just on a display stand.

Loftness
Loftness Specialized Equipment brings two new skid steer attachments to Conexpo. The Stone Ax stone crusher handles rocks up to 6 inches with a 4-inch working depth. It runs on skid steers from 80 to 135 hydraulic horsepower. A 200cc radial piston motor and adjustable anvil give operators control over crush size. The Kwik Fall tree saw targets fast removal of invasive trees. It cuts up to 14-inch diameter material. Replaceable carbide teeth and an integrated deflector protect the cab and guide debris safely. Both attachments go on sale May 1, 2026. For fleet managers running land clearing or right-of-way work, these tools add versatility without adding another power unit.
