The HDX780 ride-on trowel is powered by a 50-horsepower Hatz 4H50TIC Tier 4-F diesel engine. It has twin, 60-inch rotors with five bladed spiders that can attain speeds up to 130 rpm.

Dedicated panning and finishing modes are complemented by pumps that help maintain torque even at high rotor speeds. The Bosch-Rexroth hydraulic system and Intelli-drive system allow the engine and hydraulics to communicate in order to ensure performance, component safety, and extended life.

An 18-gallon fuel tank supports long run times. Electric controls for single or dual blade pitch are mounted on joysticks.
