The Wyco Tool portable, gas-powered, backpack-type concrete vibrator is designed for remote and hard-to-reach jobs, such as bridge decks and culverts, and also for emergency use if power fails at the jobsite. The vibrator maintains constant vibration in the mix, says Wyco Tool, via operator control of the vibration speed with the engine throttle. A Robin engine supplies the vibrating capacity to the Wyco Square Head vibrator.
A digital tachometer/hour meter indicates engine speed and displays accumulated hours. According to the company, a speed increaser reduces engine speed for longer life and less noise. The backpack vibrator is available with a choice of shaft lengths and head sizes.
