Wacker Neuson Vertical Digging System

Select compact excavators will offer an industry-exclusive Vertical Digging System (VDS), which compensates for height differences on uneven terrain and sets the operator in an upright position. Operators can tilt the cab and boom of the excavator up to 15 degrees by pushing a button, allowing them to compensate for slopes up to 27 percent. The unit can then dig more precisely in a vertical position, which speeds up excavation and backfilling work, as well as offers increased stability.
