Take a quick tour with David Bolderoff, CEM, who uses multiple BESSs.

Battery electric storage systems (BESS) may be the future of mobile charging for EVs and electric equipment on job sites.

David Bolderoff, CEM, fleet manager for the Sanitation Districts of L.A. County and the 2024 Construction Equipment and AEMP Fleet Masters Award winner for large fleets, shows us one of three of his BESS units.

They are used for both electric heavy equipment and on-road vehicles, as well as providing backup power for any incidents at facilities.
