Reid oversees all operations relative to crane service and parts, following a preventive and predictive approach. He joined Buckner out of high school, working as a mechanic. He has worked as a lube technician, field technician, and lead mechanic.
“In the heavy lift and large crane world, your word and the trust of others is really all you have,” says Jason Ruggles, director of quality. “[Reid] has always been professional, honest, intelligent, and easy to work with.”
Certifications: Reid holds several certifications and has completed various training pertaining to the lifting industry.
Professional accomplishments: The Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia. Reid was the full-time mechanic and was on-site for approximately a year and a half. The project involved around 15 Buckner cranes.
Favorite movie: “Smokey and the Bandit.”
Extracurricular: Local academic career fairs supporting the trades.
