A man was crushed between a skid steer loader and dump truck in Vinton, Iowa, according to local news reports.

According to a police report, 61-year-old Ronald Dean Preece was at the rear of the dump truck adjusting the dump gate chain. The skid steer operator did not see Preece and backed into him. Preece was the dump truck driver.
