Trowel with Electronic Steering

Sept. 28, 2010

Billed as the first overlapping/non-overlapping concrete trowel with electronic steering, Wacker's CRT-48-31V-ES offers an alternative to the traditional mechanical or hydrostatic steering. The joysticks, similar to those found on skid-steer loaders, require only the slightest touch for ease of operation. The trowel weighs less than hydrostatic units, which allows operators to place it on the slab quickly and use it on elevated deck pours. It also costs less than hydrostatic units, says Wacker. Estimated list price: $24,225.
