Vermeer RTX350 and RTX450 ride-on trenchers have a track undercarriage for increased traction, lower ground pressure, and increased side hill stability. A patent-pending track mounting system allows operators to adjust tracks. Powerplants are a 37-hp Cummins A1700 in the RTX350, and a 46.3-hp Deutz F3L2011 in the RTX450. The RTX350 trenches to 48 inches deep at widths to 12 inches; RTX450 to 60 inches deep at 12 inches. Estimated list price: $35,000–$45,000 on the RTX350; $45,000–$60,000 on the RTX450.
