Two Dead After Car Crashes into Job Site Equipment

Vehicle breached job site barricade and crashed into equipment.

Two men are dead after their car crashed into a large piece of construction equipment a little after 2 a.m. Thursday morning at the intersection of Inman Street and Church Street in Cleveland, Ohio.

According to a report from News Channel 9, the men were identified overnight as 26-year-old passenger, Tanner Ratcliff, and 24-year old driver, Michael Slater.

Authorities located a vehicle that had driven past the barricades of a job site and struck the large piece of equipment, according to the report. The type of equipment has not been specified. 

Authorities suspect alcohol to be a factor in this accident.
