A worker escaped with minor injuries after a trailer crashed into his emergency vehicle in Interstate 380 earlier this month.

The driver towing the trailer was attempting to move into the left lane as they passed the stopped work truck, but the trailer clipped a pickup truck in the process. The impact sent the trailer spinning into the work truck. It was obliterated by the impact.

The video shows the worker, clad in an orange safety shirt, scamping into the ditch away from the impact.

According to a report on KCCI, the worker sustained minor injuries. No one else was injured.
