Homeowners didn't know the tank was there

An all-terrain crane tipped over after an abandoned septic tank collapsed beneath it, sending the boom of the crane into the roof of a house.

According to news reports, the crane was on site for a tree removal project when the septic tank collapsed. The homeowners were unaware of the tank’s existence.
