Man dies in submerged dozer

The owner of an excavating business died when the crawler dozer he was operating slipped into a man-made pond, according to news reports.

Witnesses told The Wichita Eagle that the dozer rolled backward into the water. The operator was trapped in the cab for over an hour before rescuers could retrieve his body.
