Worker killed in backhoe accident

Video shows where backhoe landed

The operator of a backhoe loader lost control of the machine, and the resulting accident killed a co-worker and injured another, according to published reports.

The accident occurred on a levee project for the Hidalgo (Texas) County Drainage District No. 1.

Video shows a Deere 310SL with its stabilizers extended that appears to have slid down a concrete embankment.
