Crews rescued a worker on Tuesday afternoon after a wall fell onto him at a luxury high-rise construction site in downtown West Palm Beach, Florida, according to Fox 29.
A spokesperson for West Palm Beach Fire Rescue told Fox that a rebar steel-reinforced wall collapsed onto the worker on the 13th floor of the high-rise. The wall fell onto his upper body, according to officials.
According to the report, rescue crews loaded the injured worker onto a stretcher and slowly lowered him to the ground using rope. An ambulance took him to a local trauma hospital. According to police, the worker’s injuries are not life threatening.
