Topcon Positioning Systems has new total stations and software designed to make “construction layout simple and affordable,” says the company. According to Topcon, “these instruments and the software packages provide accurate, precision optical control and contractor friendly software at an affordable price.” The Topcon Pocket Layout software is paired with the company’s new Green Label total stations. The initial Topcon Green Label products are the GTS-100N total station series. Two models are currently available, the GTS-102N and the GTS-105N, featuring 2- or 5-arc second accuracy, respectively. In addition to the two new total stations, two new automatic levels, the AT-G4 and AT-G6 round out the initial “Green Label” optical product line.
